Lindsay Lohan takes break from rehab, blows $250 at Forever 21 during shopping trip, report says

Lindsay Lohan recently took a break from her stay at the famed Betty Ford Center, where she is undergoing rehab after failing a court-mandated drug test in September, to do some shopping.
The 24-year-old actress bought about $250 worth of loungewear at the teen-oriented women's clothing store Forever 21 at a mall in Palm Desert, California, according to People magazine.
Lohan has so far has completed about five weeks of rehab at the Betty Ford Center, where celebrities such as Elizabeth Taylor, Gary Busey, David Hasselhoff, Ozzy Osbourne and the late Anna Nicole Smith have undergone treatment for addictions to drugs and alcohol. This is her fifth stint at a treatment center.
A judge ordered Lohan has been ordered to stay at the facility until at least Jan. 3, 2011. The ruling was made in late October at a hearing on Lohan's probation, which stems from a 2007 arrest for drunken driving and cocaine possession.
The actress had pleaded guilty to being under the influence of cocaine and no contest to driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.08 percent and reckless driving. The actress is due back in court on February 25 and must continue to undergo random drug tests.
Lohan has also completed three stints in jail - the first lasting 84 minutes, the second, 14 days. Last month, she spent 15 hours behind bars after she failed a drug test and wrote about it on her Twitter page. A judge later allowed her to post bail and leave jail. She began a new rehab stint days later.
In August, Lohan completed jail and rehab stints that were shortened, reportedly due to overcrowding. she was given the sentence because she violated her probation from her DUI case by not attending all court-mandated alcohol education classes.

Lindsay Lohan thinks her dad is "nuts" and should be in rehab.
The 'Mean Girls' actress has blasted Michael Lohan's claims that she needs to seek help for alleged problems with substance abuse, insisting he only speaks out about her because he is desperate for attention.
She said: "I'm not really speaking to him. Him saying those things is the last thing that's going to get me to speak to him and I've told him that.
"He's nuts. He is someone who is crying out for help and attention. He is the one who should be in rehab. He has been on and off like this my whole life. ... Read More ...

Judge extends probation for Lindsay Lohan

A judge on Friday extended Lindsay Lohan’s probation on drunk driving and other criminal charges for one more year, telling the struggling actress to get serious about her alcohol education program. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel ordered Lohan to appear in her courtroom after receiving a report from probation officials that the ‘‘Mean Girls’’ star failed to attend alcohol education sessions in a timely manner.
